We are a small, friendly and welcoming evangelical church in Nottingham city centre. For us each individual is important. No matter what background you have or where you come from, you are always invited to take part in what we do.
For us faith is not only a thing to be read about in the bible, but alive, so we meet each Sunday for two services. Between our services we have a cup of tea/coffee and talk about whatever comes to mind. Community is very important for Christians and a fundamental part of the gospel.
Thanksgiving for the life of Ivy
Ivy used to attend the Ladies Meetings at Clumber Hall regularly many years ago but had been unable to come when she had to go to live in a care home. On Tuesday 13th March we sang two of her favourite hymns, 'Be still for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One is here' and 'I will sing the wondrous story of the Christ who died for me'. We remembered her love of being at the meetings.
Thanksgiving for the life of Mrs Joan Spires
Mrs Spires has been a faithful member of Clumber Hall since moving to Nottingham many years ago, regularly attending the meetings until a few weeks before her death. She looked forward to spending time with the other members of the church, but mainly to come and worship her Saviour. Mrs Spires will be greatly missed but we rejoice that she is now in Heaven with her Lord.
